How do You Get Started?

Step 1: Create a DynamPics.com user account

Proceed to Signup and fill out the basic user form. After completion and submission, you will automatically be logged into your new account and a private email receiver account is created. The receiver email account [user name]@dynampix.com; where [user name] is the user name you chose at Signup. You can proceed to step 2.

Step 2: Login and setup

Login to the system using your user name and password you created when you signed up. If you forgot your password, use the Forgot Password tool to have it sent to your email address. Once logged in, go to the 'Data Sources' in the administration panel and add your cell phone email address, or any email address you want to allow to post images to your portfolio, like this;

• Click the link at the top of the Data Sources page to add a new data source. Any data source that is active in your account, will be able to publish images into your image portfolio.
• Enter the email address you want to allow the data to come from and any other pertinent information for the data source; if you do not know the email address of your cell phone, for example, try sending yourself an email and see what the from address is or send an email to your dynampix.com address and it'll appear in your data sources section as inactive. You can then activate it and proceed.
• Now you can send images to your DynamPix.com receiver email address; always [user name]@dynampix.com where [user name] is the user name you chose at signup. Note the 'x' as opposed to the 'cs' in the domain name, dynampix.com not dynampics.com. Emails sent to dynampics.com will bounce.
• For Advanced Users Go to the Photo Albums section and create a new album. Once the album is created, go BACK to your 'Data Sources' and edit the data source you just entered, notice the album is listed for direct publication? Check the box and save, now when you send an email to your dynampix.com receiver email address like this; [user name].[album screen name]@dynampix.com; where [album screen name] is the screen name you assigned the album when you created it, the image will not only be dropped into your portfolio, but directly to the album as well!!! Now imagine, you have different albums published on different sites using javascript, and you have each albums receiver email address programmed into your phone, the possibilities!

Step 3: (optional) Retrieve JavaScript, HTML, Flash or XML source code for your website or external photo album applications!
